The bungalows are like ‘living in a basket’. Thatch roof, hand-woven bamboo walls and wooden floors are the way of life at the lake. All bungalows have small decks; all have front deck and some front and rear. All of them offer awesome cliff and lake views and a place for a nice hammock nap or viewing wildlife. Each bungalow is sparsely furnished— wooden bed frame, mattress, bedding, pillows, and mosquito netting and towel. All structures: the bungalows, restaurant, hang out space, pop up shop - are floating on the lake, connected by bridged walkways. Half of the bungalows are installed with shower and bathroom, although those without it offer a back deck more breezy. It is important to remember that the electricity offered is very limited; a generator provides it for a few hours each evening enabling us to recharge our devices. There is no cellphone signal, therefore you won’t be able to make calls, use wi-fi or 3G, except in an extreme urgent case scenario. What a bless!
